Hi all, I am taking my 2 kids to Leysin for their time Skiing next weekend. I cannot find links to Skiing Lessons or Equipment rental. The travel agent does not provide for these two services. Should I risk booking the lessons and ski hire for when I get there?? Can anyone recommend the best course of action....Thanks &|

Try contacting the tourist office via www.leysin.ch. It will probably be worth trying to book in advance as Leysin will be very busy next weekend - peak season, half term so you might have limited choice on the day.

If you have no luck going direct, try SnowRental as I think they deal with hire shops in most resorts nowadays.

If it's your kids first time, you might be better off looking at one of the smaller, local stations in the area (if you can get in contact with a ski hire place) as they may be less busy.

Good luck!

Hey
My famly and I want to go skiing in Leysin in March 2006. We have been trying to find out if the skiing is good that time of year. Some say it is slushy? We don't want to go all the way there to find that the skiing isn't going to be good. Anyone got some info? Are there ski lessons at that time of the year? %-6
