Baulking at putting skis into your bed is a sure sign of this breakdown in their relationships. I wouldnt be surprised if some of them havent even had their skis serviced after last years trip - that really is when its all over and time to move on.mfc wrote:Tony_H wrote:Oooh, I do detect that some people are not totally happy in their relationship with their skis....
I must say i to feel a hint of people unhappy that WE HAVE NEW SKIS and they dont!
I also find many people take one look at your (our) more attractive younger models and wish they too had something a little more cute or pretty. There is nothing worse than skiing around and seeing someone with skis you prefer to your own, and subsequently that spark between you and your skis has gone, the fire is out, and its never going to be the same again. You can wax them to your hearts content, but you are never going to quite feel the same again.
Oh well, you and I MFC will have a lovely romantic time on our respective trips this season with our babies. I just feel sorry for those who have fallen out of love with theirs, it must be a horrible empty feeling......
Yeah, yeah YEAH what he says
