It was actually, This is the least fit I have ever been at the start of a season. The skiing was easy, but the alpine board was punishing. Nearly brought tears to my eyes at moments.

Its like Christmas morning all over again - not being able to sleep because of the excitement. You would think at my age, I would have outgrown such behaviour :mrgreen:

When I am away skiing, its the only mornings in the whole year when I get up before Mrs H. She cant usually rouse me at all, but she gets annoyed that I am up, showered and dressed at around 6am when we are away skiing.
