Canvassing opinion for helmet wearing or not

Wise up - it's not you it the "person" who hits you when you least expect it - wear a helmet (it keeps your head warm)

I wear a cycle helmet so why would I not wear a ski helmet? I had a relatively small fall last time out and really whacked the side of my head, fortunately got away with only a headache. Made a nice dent in the side of my helmet.....just bought a lovely new one for this year . I also hated getting fluff from my hat, in my eyes, every time I put my goggles up and down. They also keep your head toasty in the cold and cool in the warmer times ( if you have vents obviously) I have also nursed head injury patients who are now permanently brain damaged as a result of some relatively minor bumps! It's still personal choice at the end of the day.

As I once read on here quite a long time ago, "the most precious part of your body is contained within the 8 inches* between your ears".
