Off to Val Di Fassa at the end of Feb. I love the character of the Dolomite and the people, plus the immense painting opportunities.

Hi We went to Livigno last year and loved it, everything from the resort to the slopes all were excellent! The transfer from Milan was very long and the only downside to a great week, we're heading to Sauze this year late Feb ! never been there and can't wait. :-D

surely in Italy there are many places to be evaluated. Cervinia is a very nice place

Other places very beautiful in my opinion are:

Madonna di Campiglio
cortina d'Ampezzo
East Nova

There are many others. Meanwhile look at these;).

Take a look at Bardonecchia in the Italian Alps just 1 hour west of Turin. Its more famous neighbours are Sauze d'Oulx and Sestriere but Bardonecchia is much loved by the Italians so is much quieter, less expensive and more authentic. It has already had great snow, the resort is open, new lifts have been installed this year so it's all systems go! There is a ski chalet run by a young British couple which is very rare in Italy as ski chalet holidays are few and far between. Gr8 for families, foodies and anyone watching their budget!
