Okay, just back from having some new boots custom fitted at Profeet.....very happy with service. Came home with some Lange RX100 boots - can't wait to try them in anger in March! Might take a cheeky trip to the snow dome sooner.......

Remember to tape them, love my Lange but no idea why they haven't figured out that the small shell overlap near the toes results in wet and hence cold feet.

I got myself a pair of rossignol radicals. Due to my strange feet had to go back a couple of times to get them tweaked. Amazing what they can do, including grinding down the plastic footbed inside the boot to lower my foot.

Hey, thanks for the tip. Sure there will be a few tweaks the first week.

Yeah, my Wife has ridiculously high arches and had to have her Nordica bent, shaped, moulded to fit - did an amazing job and two years later no tears....unlike the last pair!

I had my ski boots fitted at Profeet a few years ago and I've never had any problems with them since :)
But if you've had the insoles shaped it's a good idea to try them out in the snowdome first, it took me about half an hour to learn how to ski again with squishy apricots in my boots! ;)
