Tony - dont like to say this but you have double standards!!!! Your posts today towards Ally have been totally out of order.
1. You accuse Ally of turning the thread into a France v Austria thread. You will find that there was light hearted.
THEN
2. you continue to compare French v Austrians and taking the post of Ian's holiday off topic. Is that double standards?
He was truly writing that with his head. Your have brought your opinion (heart) into it.
Ian - look forward to the rest of your account.
Tony - let the man speak

So, back in Austria.
Tony was glad he didnt go to the Moose
I always preferred the Krazy Kanagru, the girls dishing out the Jagermister were a lot better looking in there ;)

The Guy's ..... This was the highlight of the hol's for me considering I had only previously met one of the party and Mrs W none, we had a great mix of personalities all up for a good giggle, I think that I carried the mantle of Mr Grumpy which I think was totally unacceptable ...Me Grumpy you just can't believe it ...Can you ???
I think the cab driver who took us from St Anton to St Christoph on the wednesday night was much more Grumpy than I, every time I sang a song in his cab he turned the radio up, so I sung louder and he kept turning the radio up, I was only singing songs from the Sound of music. Austrians Hah.
Mountain Restaurants I think it was the Sunday we had stopped for a spot of lunch can't really remember the restaurant, well it was one of those outside places where you lined up to buy drinks and pay and then join another queue to collect your food, the offering was Spag bol, Goulash slop and various Sausage each had their own queue and unsurprisingly the slop , spag bol had no queue but the bangers was tailing back.
So I thought I would use some common sense and go to the Spag bol queue to get my Hot dog, wrong, so you had this old boy on the hot dogs rushed off his feet with the never ending queue of people and this young girl doing bugger all standing about chatting, being a bit of a jobs worth
saying "Zoo must join zee other line". Painful.
Lifts Most of the lifts were fine still a couple of old two person chairs about which do cause a queue, but over all the lifts were fine.
Never been on a T-Bar before but they were Ok preferred to go on them on my own so I didn't have to worry too much about the person next to me.
To Finish ... A big thank you must go out to Tony for organising the whole trip,Never the easiest thing in the world to do, so well done mate, Mrs W and I really enjoyed the trip but we will have to see if the rest of the party liked us, I'm sure they did as Wickers is a very likeable good looking fellow. And most of the moaning is only a bit of fun.
Will I ski Austria again yes I will
