I think your right on that one .... I do feel the cold more than I used to so I just for the last couple of years put on one of those breathable walking T's then a base layer plus the jacket, I think I would over heat with thermals on, unless it is the cognac that keeps me warm. :lol:

To get back to the original question, I have a set of thermals from M & S and find them really good.

I tend to wear one of those sports tops which are skin tight (Long sleeve) then a t-shirt or vest over the top depending on how cold it is then jacket. To be honest Its never that cold until you sit on the lift with the wind blowing in your face and you cant move, you just have to zip the vents up and pull the scarf over your mouth and sit shivering until the top.
