Hi All,
Can anybody help? Has anybody ever taken a baby with them on a snow holiday before? Just wanting to know how you managed? did you go for in resort child care? Did you hire a car/use transfer companies etc.
We are looking at going to Morzine in March with a 6 month old. Grandparents have offered to baby sit so chalet option seems good, just wanting to know some experiences/tips from those that have done it.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Hi. We used Family Ski for many years with our two girls. They specialize in chalet holidays for families and have several resorts. We stayed in Ardent near Morzine for several years and used their childcare after ski school. They also have a creche. We stayed in chalet La Grange several years running and met several other families who we subsequently went back to ardent with to the same chalet. they are very child orientated and the skiing is good from ardent with a bubble up to lindaret and then up to Avoriaz if you want, over to swizterland and the swiss wall or down into morzine from avoriaz. For older children in ski school, they have English ski school helpers which is especially useful at the beginning when they get cold or need snacks / taking to the loo during lessons.

Hi, we took all three of our kids when they were only a few weeks old in each case. It was actually a lot easier than when they started moving about. One thing to be wary of is taking a baby up in a gondola or cable car to a mountain restaurant as the rapid change in air pressure with the altitude isn't good for their ears I'm told...

Hi guys,
Thanks so much for replying your advice is very helpful. Managed to book an apartment in Morzine itself but will look at Ardent in the future. I use this lift quite a lot so know the area fairly well.
Hope you all have a great season skiiing/boarding
Matt
