Hi,
I have for sale a set of 2016/17 Atomic vantage X80 CTI skis with XT12 Bindings, size 166cm.

I bought these in Mar 17 and used them on piste for only 3 days. Unfortunately due to my ability they are not suited to me.

They are undamaged and practically brand new. Grab a bargain at a reduced price.

Any questions welcome.

Regards
Jamie

Hi Jamie,

Are these still for sale? How much are you looking for?

You say above "Unfortunately due to my ability they are not suited to me." What does this mean? Too advanced for you or not advanced enough?

Thanks

Hi,
The skis are still for sale atm. Apologies as I thought I had posted the price.
I am asking for £250 as they are so pristine.
I regards to my skiing ability I was a little over zealous when I bought them. I consider myself to be a Novice breaking into the intermediate level. These skis are more for an accomplished intermediate/advanced.
Hope this helps.
Jamie.

I would be tempted to keep them if I were you vs. lose money. You might need to rent for a few trips but they are the sort of piste ski which will be good for the next 10yrs. They should be a perfect ski to progress carving on and in my experience of Atomics is that they are not so stiff will suit a really wide spectrum of ability.

FWIW, I think Ranchero has it right - those would be good skis for you to progress on. We're assuming, of course, that they're sized correctly for your weight and height?

Rather than make a loss, why not set them as your target for next season? Do some "dry land" training in the meantime; anything you can do to improve your fitness and balance will speed progress from your current level and you might find you only need one more trip (with lessons) to get comfortable on these.

If you're within reach of a fridge (Hemel?) then work out what you'd lose by selling the skis, and spend it on lessons instead...

Then you'll be no worse off than you are now, but a better skier, and with some nice skis! 8)
