We are planning our ski itinerary right now for Chamonix, and we plan on spending only 1 day in either Le Tour our Brevent Flegere area. We are intermediate skiers from Canada (mainly skiing blues at Whistler, blacks in Blue Mountain, blues at La Plagne). We don't particularly care about off piste but mostly scenery and cruising blues would be nice. Thanks for any responses!

Where are your other days being spent? Between them they have the best piste skiing in the valley.

Yeah, would be good to know where else you are planning on heading!
Le Tour is often closed due to high winds so depending on when/how fixed you are it's not a place you can guarantee to be able to ski. If you are going to be based in Chamonix town then Brevent is the obvious choice but I have a soft spot for Les Houches which is worth a look.
If you want to mix up the countries you can head under the Mont Blanc tunnel and ski Courmayer. I wouldn't base a holiday there but for a day it's good fun.

We really only have 2 days in Chamonix and were wanted to go to the Aiguille de Midi for one day. Is it possible to do the Aiguille de Midi and ski for the other half of the day? If so which area would you recommend?

Day 1: Ski Brevant / Flegere (take Brevant Bubble up and down) ski 09-13:00 and have nice lunch in town (first restaurant on left as cross train tracks to midi). Check web came and if clear jump on lift up Midi.
Day 2: Le Tour/Balme
If you try to hit midi in the morning you will 1) upset skiers and 2) be in the inevitable line.

Are there any other areas that you think we should go? Instead of le tour or brevent flegere?

I assume you are hinting at Grand Montets. Some great skiing to be had but it is the offpiste that makes the area famous. You might also find some of the pistes steep in sections. If you have only 2 days it would not be on my to do list.
If the feezing level is low I am a big fan of Le Houches. The only downside being that the limited vertical can make you feel like you are spending a lot of time on lifts vs skiing.
