I'm trying to plan a few days at the very end of March and am not sure where to go.
The flights that work out for me are Milan Bergamo or Munich Memmingam so I've thought of Cervinia or St Anton.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.
End of March short trip, where?

It's a way to go yet, of course, but I'd certainly be looking for altitude and would probably go for Milan if I had to pick now.
Aosta valley has been getting good snow lately and it looks like there's a lot more to come this next week - but it's also looking like being relatively mild for a while (great for snow above 2,000m, but not so good for lower down).
So, Cervinia or maybe Alagna?

I've never been to Alagna so that could be an option. I might just boo flights and wait till the last minute before deciding where to go

Flying in to Bergamo then Madonna di Campiglio is well worth a visit. Relatively high resort (village level 1500m) with extensive links to Folgarida, Pinzolo and Marivella. Very fashionable resort with excellent linked lift system (no T-bars!) and some excellent restaurants both in the village and on mountain. For what it's worth I have stayed in the Diana Hotel on several occasions and can thoroughly recommend it. Be wary if booking accommodation as some of the hotels/apartmentsare are some way from the lifts and require bus/taxi connections. The Oberosler Hotel along with the Diana Hotel are both virtually adjacent to the lifts.

Am not sure Madonna di Campiglio is an option, hardly any snow there now 25/65 and although forecast is promising is unlikely it will offer a meaningful amount skiing.
Given the season as a whole I would take a summer ski mindset, as people have suggested Tignes or Cervinia at least guarantees you some skiing. Probably very pleasant transformed snow to have a ski at.

Somewhere high that has snow and plenty runs open, and also many restaurants with terraces. It's the season to work on your tan.

Very hard to beat St Anton area and it should still have plenty of snow at end March. Now fully connected to Lech so a huge area. An easy journey from Menningen.
