Hi
Am looking at Gressoney for February 2017 but one of us does not ski or board; however they like walking and the odd coffee shop.
Has anyone been that could advise whether a non skier would be bored silly or could they find enough to do?
Cheers

Not stayed in Gressoney but have skied there from Champoluc a number of times. There's really not much else to do other than ski (in Gressoney) in February unless their "walking" is quite hard-core (i.e. they're happy on snow shoes, are avalanche-aware, etc.).

Champoluc would be a much better bet for a non-skier; it's not big but there are at least some shops, more restaurants/cafes and (probably) better walking opportunities. Just MHO, and happy to be corrected?

Hi,

I've skiied in Champoluc about 10 years ago with family and there is very very little to do except ski. Since that I've skied in Gressoney St Jean and La Trinite and all the surrounding resorts including Champoluc, Alagna and a few others. It really is for skiers as far as I could see. We even found it difficult to find a pub showing soccer matches!! The aprés ski is not nearly as good as in Westendorf Austria but always had fabulous holidays up in Aosta valley. I'm heading to Westendorf Feb 11th. Hoping for great snow.
