Just had a look at Skiwelt webcams and there is a nice dusting of snow and they are starting to roll the the snow cannons into position.

Saw first snow , light dusting when visiting lake Maggiore three weeks ago, I have just looked at the mountains at Cerreto di Laghi which is not high and there is a light dusting of snow. Not normally no snow this time of year. I know you should not draw any conclusions but it feels like it could be ago of year. Im so excited. Andy
