Hi Im thinking of going skiing this summer in Europe, I don't mind where.
I'm looking for a companion or small group, possibly for a mid week 3-4 day trip
I'm based in the Midlands and can be farley flexible with data and travel arrangements.
I'm a competent Red run skier and have never been summer skiing

I have no personal experience, but the gen appears to be go sooner rather than later - better skiing in July than August generally (unless there's been a big dump). LDA is the one resort I have skied that offers summer skiing - summer runs there are fairly gentle blues but good for developing technique.

I am going to Austria in a couple of weeks, so I checked the conditions. Stubai has lifts operating, but no snow slopes. Kaprun closes in 3 days.
