Hi Guys,
Has anyone ever been to Ischgl towards the end of the season? I'm considering going with the wife from 3rd - 7th April but I'm concerned that a lot of places will be closed and it will be dead.
I'm interested to know if anyone has been around ski season closing and can provide me with some insight as to what the resort and slopes are like at this time.

What Tony said... you'll be there more than three weeks before season ends.
That's April 30th Tony - Muse headlining Ischgl's Top of The Mountain concert

Went last year end of March . Snow up top was amazing home runs got a bit slushy later in afternoon mind you it was 12 degrees first afternoon we were there came home with a great tan .resort had plenty people about at apres time quieter later on in town. Superb skiing , fast modern lifts , hardly any queues and brilliant apres wouldn't hesitate going back at that time of year . Our favourite spots were schatzi banging dj tunes at apres time . Kuhstall also and champagner hutte we found last nite a good spot too not as you would imagine posers hanging about drinking champagne more like a bar with dj and dance floor . We're off to st anton 2nd April plenty snow there . As the guy we rent apartments there told us early season worry about snow cover not late season usually fine . Obviously that applies to higher resorts like ischgl and st anton.

Thanks guys. This is really helpful. I might go ahead and book now.
Then I just need to buy all the gear and I'm ready to rock. The nightlife sounds good, which along with the high altitude to ensure better snow, are the main reasons I'm looking here over other places in Europe.
