Hey all,
Long time no see gang, been a while since ive been to this forum.
Im looking to book a holiday with my wife and friends and we are looking for somewhere in Italy that is idealy for beginners(especially my wife as she likes gental slopes). But we are also looking for somewhere with a bit of craic for new years.
Im thinking of renting either an apartment or small chalet as we may have between 5 to 12 people.
Group is primarily beginner, we are all adults bar one child at 2 years of age and at the time one baby at 2 months old.
Thanks for any suggestions gang

I really sympathise with your wife, as I feel the same way. But it really limits your choice of places to ski, which is frustrating, especially if you add in the factor of snow reliability. Many places that get reliable snow might not be suitable for timid skiers. I'm so fed up with myself that this year I have booked into ski school and I am determined to improve, so I don't have to scour every piste map looking for green runs.

Italy.....
Good craic, some easy slopes and nice cruising......
It has to be Sauze, but pray for a good start to the season weather-wise

How about Val Badia? (Corvara, San Cassiano or LA Villa)
Plenty of easy blue runs and breathtaking views. And if you have more experienced skiers, there are some great reds and blacks too.
They're always super organised on the Dolomites, the runs are always open (natural, artificial snow or a mix of the two).

Hello, try http://www.altabadia.org/en/ or http://www.altabadia.it/en/holidays-alta-badia.htm
I have been to Alta Badia a few times normally in the Summer (in the Winter, I usually get there from Val Gardena) and I love that region.
