We are driving North from Bergamo to Carona next Sunday morning (Feb. 28th 2016). Heavy snow is forecast. Can anyone tell me how clear the roads are likely to be for the last few miles. When we get there we have to find somewhere to park the car and then take the ski lift up to our hotel - the Rifugio Terrerosse. Can anyone give any advise on where to park the car, hopefully near the lift as we have our luggage to take up to the hotel and there is likely to be a foot of snow.
Is Foppolo a better option for parking???

Try emailing or phoning the hotel. They should know what's the best thing to do.

I have e-mailed the hotel twice without a reply. I don't want the police chasing me because I have parked where I shouldn't.

The piste map shows a car park next to the lift http://www.dovesciare.it/sites/default/files/cartina-carona.jpg It's impossible to say what the road conditions will be like, the current forecast for Sunday (Sabato) doesn't indicate that there will be heavy snowfall before early evening. http://www.centrometeolombardo.com/content.asp?contentid=1150&ContentType=Previsioni , but this could change.
