Off to Champery for a long weekend in a 10 days time.
Flying into Geneva and undecided whether to hire a car or to go by train.
Looks to be a straightforward journey by train - anyone done it?

Dead easy - I've travelled on that line several times. Mainline express to Aigle, change, then lots of stops to Champery. Total time around two-and-a-half hours.

Can you buy tickets at the station or did you book on line?

You can buy at the railway station or online (www.sbb.ch/en)
I tend to look for the supersavers ticket which can be up to half price of the regular fare.
