Recommendations will depend on when you intend to go. What type of accommodation are you after? What apres are you after? More info please

Coach transfer, car hire at airport or train transfer? It makes a lot of difference as to what's available to you.

La Plagne in France is a great resort for long blues and wide red slopes. It has a transfer time of 3 hours though. It is the only resort I have been to twice because the runs are so nice.

Hi all, 3 hrs is too much, one of our group just won't do long transfers so 2hrs max, talking coach time ,Italy is our prefered option as France on the 27th feb I believe is one of their holidays which will make it too expensive. Cheers.

Draw a circle 1 1/2 hrs from Geneva and pick a resort. Flaine / PDS / Clusaz / St Gervais / Megeve. Basically any of those will fit the bill. Cheap flights to Geneva and <30 Euro each way transfer. Accommodation costs as you wish. For skiing you have to question if you need more than a comfortable bed and a hot shower which many 2 and 3* hotels tick, Air B & B also worth a look at.
