I've asked in several forums the same question about Pas de la Casa but no responses so I guess we'll just have to go with the flow when we arrive! Have fun!

I enjoyed Arinsal the skiing is ok for beginners and lower intermediates and the instructors all spoke English ..If you go across to Pal via the link cable car the skiing is more interesting with a few longer runs . You can also go on the free shuttle bus to Arcarlis which has some really nice runs but it (the bus ) did get busy ..If you hire you equipment from the place at the top of the cable car you can leave it their which is much easier than bringing it back every evening

We went to Arinsal for new year last year. It's not a huge resort but there is life there! We were at the very top of the town, almost as far as you can go and used the local bars opposite, didn't bother with the trek into town and the hill back up very often. The snow wasn't great, although I believe they have had a little more early a dump so far. A trip to Arcalis is worth it, there's a lovely big long green run which is great for confidence building, but agree the bus can get quite busy, especially the return one's later in the day. There is usually more snow type there if you are struggling in resort.
