Its a chalet I looked at many times but didn't book for various reasons, mainly because of availability on dates and going with a larger group. But it looks a very good place. Zurs has some fantastic skiing, often fairly quiet, next door to both Lech and a short bus ride from Stuben and your gateway into St Anton.
Book it.

Is it definitely in Zurs or is the Chalet Alpenland in Zug?

Hi, I have stayed here in 2014 and 2015. It is in Zug, a small but pretty hamlet not far from Lech centre. Before I start waffling on, is there anything in particular that you like to know or is it just a general overview?

Hi and no problem. The place is in a good location as there is a small lift about 100 yards skiing away. Take this up and you can easily ski down into Lech (blue run 34). A bus is every 20 mins which is a 10 minute journey if you prefer.
Getting to St Anton is by coach and again it's from Lech centre. You can ski all day and get a coach back in the evening which is what we did when we went over.
The chalet is clean and a decent size, all are en suite apart from the top floor which shares a bathroom and toilet. We really enjoyed it here, the only minus point is the evening sitting area is quite formal with bench style seats rather than something comfy you can sink into. There is plenty of space for skis and boots in the drying room.
It's a good base and if we didn't enjoy it we wouldn't have been back.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your choice. Let me know if you need anything else.

Steve.

Not sure about that one. Both times we were there more people were coming from St Anton rather than going to. I'm guessing by this that you are preferring to be in St Anton? If so then why not have a look over there, I am positive there are lots of good size chalets that can cater for you. Lech has a huge amount of runs, and some wonderful speedy cruisers in Zurs. Now that the link to Warth has been created there is even more still.
This is no put down of St Anton of course, we enjoyed it thoroughly over there.
