Stayed in Samoens in January last year & had a great time - loved the area - particularly the village itself. If you want to look at some photos I've put some on Picasa at:

im back from my holiday. i had a fantastic time. the village and the resort are briliant.managed to reach 2140m and did blue and red runs. the hotel was fabulus. the only downside of the trip was some locals who did not speak a word english. this is very irritating especially if you consider that it is an area full of turist. definitly going back next year
