I may go actually :D Only for the weekend if the snow looks good and Zinal doesn't open which I don't think it will personally. I can't think it'll be busy and I'll call the TO for a bed on the Friday and hop on the train.

Well i went to the dry slope today! Thought i'd try gloucester out as i always go to churchill the local one to me! Was a mistake really found it quite boring to be honest and couldn't be bothered after 1 hour! Just two straight slopes! Very boring and shan't be returning! What a waste of petrol that was!

 can I come??? I've still got 5 and a half months to wait

Think of how fit you will be by the end of the winter, ready to shred the hill :D

I'm not certain that there is anything I can do to help you shorten your recovery time, but if positive thought works on ligament repair, you got it :D

I'm off Wed/Thur and love the idea of hitting Zermatt, however it looks like thats when the snow/wind will hit it to. What do you think the chances are of getting any skiing in ? Or will I be sitting in the valley crying in my beer as I watch all the snow fall... but the lifts are closed.

Wind's not so bad on there but it could be a bit bleak on the top. Looks like winter's here though, got to change those tyres, no sleep till spring now :D
