Full face mountain bike helmet for skiing???

GO for it, few buddies who have MTB full face helmets. The principle deffinately seems reasonable enough

Not much into jumps myself but definitely a cause-effect thing going on here, have you never been tempted to resolve this issue by choosing jumps with landings which are steep enough? If you buy the helmet I would expect a similar thread on using mountain bike knee pads to protect your ski knees from hitting your full face mountain bike helmet. Seems like you are route to be robo skier / all gear no idea.
