Just come back from pozza di fassa (linked to the sella ronda) with crystal ski, and coincidentally met in the hotel a couple of Irish guys who also travelled with crystal. Would defo recommend the dolomites, only queued for lifts in one area for 8 mins or so at 9:30am, apart from that was pretty quiet, no fresh pow but good base snow. Huge area to ski/board, and like another comment would recommend also spending time around the villages of each area, racked up lots of miles, made it over to Monte Panna and took the bus through the forest with snow chains, also enjoyed the funicular. Madonna di campiligio is also fun, a smaller area though so depends what you are after. Had thought about flying to Verona and hiring a car and booking hotel independently, slightly cheaper for 2 than with crystal and gives more flexibility so will do this another time, will go back to sella for sure. Hope you get there too.

Hi there I'm also in Northern Ireland and would love to go to Selva, l"ve researched all ways of traveling from various airports, preferably not flying with Ryanair. Aer lingus flights to verona and Venice don't seem to operate until March so flying into Milan you can get the train to Bolzano and then from Bolzano take the bus to Salva. Hope this helps and if you are planning a group trip in 2025 l would be interested as I am booked for 2024
