We are skiing as a group in Madonna di Campiglio. 20-something of us this year.

Hello strangers. Haven't been on here in a while. I came back after a self enforced absence, but got a bit of stick so stayed away again.
Anyway, the GF wanted to go away for Christmas this year, just the 2 of us. She's never had Xmas away before so wanted to take the opportunity - good timing too as we are having the house that we bought in August rebuilt internally right now, should be finished just in time for Xmas so it will be good to get away.

So, I had to make sure I picked somewhere with guaranteed snow, high altitude, etc and we plumped for Cervinia. I have only been once before, about 4 years ago, so I should find byway around easily enough, but its not somewhere I know inside out. Looking forward to it, we fly 23rd, so 2 weeks today will not just be Christmas Eve, but my first days skiing!!!

No idea after that. Probably a cheap late deal end of Feb or early March somewhere. Really not too fussed where to be honest. Budget will dictate.
