Hi all

Both trips already booked, 3 valleys in January and Samoens in March. Like all big kids I can't wait, I'm looking at webcams already but I have no shame in doing this.

Chamonix booked 29th Dec-5th Jan. Probably more of a climbing than a skiing trip but happy to have drinks if anyone is in town.

The skiing was rubbish the last time I was there .

A bit more mundane for me. Just booked Selva in the Dolomites for mid-term. Getting excited already .

Might have a look at a long weekend as well.

End of December for Mayrhofen and February in Ellmau. Spent Xmas in Mayrhofen last year. Conditions not perfect but enough to make the trip worthwhile and enjoyable :)

Yes, going out to Switzerland December 7-11 for our annual pre-Christmas long Weekend. Last year conditions were pretty good:

and yes, there was no one else on the slopes. When we stopped for lunch at the Savoleyres summit café there were only three other people there.

Mid December is a great time for a short trip, I'm going for my tenth December trip this year. Obviously you have to be careful about where to go but empty slopes and better value are a big plus.
When in doubt?....Flat out.
