Dobby, not sure if you're still looking but I have a couple places left on my trip to Tignes leaving Sunday 29th Jan?

Large group, sole occupancy of chalet Rosset?

Having skied there each year for the last 7 years I would recommend the Dolomites for all levels of skier, but especially intermediate. If you just went for the Alta Badia pass staying at somewhere like San Cassiano, Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa you have 130kms of skiing to go at. If you want more than you can possibly ski choose the SuoerDolomiti pass which gives you over 650km of skiing to go at, which I would have thought was enough for anyone. We always stay at San Cassiano and self cater in an apartment which is pure italian chic. Also the food in the many mountain restaurants is like mama used to make it - 7 years we've been skiing there and still haven't visited all the restaurants avaialble. It is also probably the most beautiful skiing area in the world. Want any more information just message me.
Oh and if you want a guide we are there for pretty well most of January

Hi, I have a space for 7th -14th Jan in st Anton? If that's of interest I can send over more details on the chalet we're in. It's a nice penthouse with sauna etc. We're a group of four mid twenty somethings, all chilled out and relaxed, and we're looking for someone to take the last spot! All good/intermediate skiers (one snowboarder) and all beginner drinkers.

Let me know if that's of interest!

Hi there,
Did a solo trip last year in mid January by car from Scotland Did a week in La Plagne but travelled to La Rossiere, Valmorel and La Tania. Second week was in Samoens but also skied Avoriaz and La Clusaz. Thoroughly enjoyed it but I have to say that having my own transport was a bonus as I could go where I wanted when I wanted. That said I always enjoy La Plagne and am just back from a family holiday there. Always found company on and off the slopes and there is always somewhere to go in La Plagne. My own favourite in this resort is Plagne 1800. It has a good bus service from 1800 to the centre.

BA! You would be a class act on your own!

I have had solo visits, (OK in the main, to Niederau or Colorado). Outwith Niederau, I would have no hesitation on a solo visit to anywhere. It is the skiing that counts. OK, in Niederau, no matter what time of year, I know many visitors, plus all of the locals. No matter, I would be happy to be solo in any resort.

Notably, in the Arlberg, I asked the hotel person where the locals went to drink. Went there, and formed a strong bond with several locals.

Yes, I have two to three family and friends visits each season, but I do enjoy the solo trips.

I am team leader of a group of decent skiers who have been together for donkeys years. We are all decent guys and relaxed, and have skied all over Europe and USA/Canada. Most of us in our 40's and 50's but we have a young attitude!

We have a drop out due to family illness on our trip to Lech (Chalet Hotel Montfort) and are struggling to replace him.

We are close to departure and obviously will lose all the money if we just cancel and the guy did not get insurance.

So we have a deal to offer-the rooms are such that we can create a single for a newbie-some rooms are triples.

Flying from Gatwick on 5 Feb, transfers to Lech, Chalet hotel board (meals and wine), ski pass, ski carriage for a great price of £550. That's half price on what the rest of us paid.

Anyone interested please contact me via this site or email to peter_huckle@yahoo.co.uk

First come first served-once the money is the bank I will transfer details to the booking etc and give more details.
