Speedy recovery Schumi and like any sport has its dangers regardless of equipment and location.

It never ceases to amaze the dull smug posts some make on forums...!

Well said Goldie. I think people forget that a human being is fighting for his life and 3 metres is utterly irrelevant.

No, and neither is it about rental skis but you wouldnt want to pick on anyone else would you. Or the person who first raised the issue of being off piste or not.

Essentially the responses in the thread are to the news article about Shumi's accident. The article itself mentions off piste along with a number of other matters.
It is reasonable to assume that it's not unreasonable to discuss the various issues raised by his accident.
None of those comments have been disrespectful to somewhone with life threatening injuries.
J2Ski started the thread so presumably are happy for the issue to be discussed so why do some feel the need to chastise those who have responded to one or more of the issues the accident raisd?

Can't agree Brucie as the fact that him being off piste was the main cause of the accident.

There are many threads discussing off piste and insurance. Can we please respect the privacy and wishes of the family who have requested same. Wild and uninformed speculation helps no one.
Welcome back Tony by the way.
