cheapest ski transfer to austria and back

Hi

I booked a holiday on friday and forgot to book my skis on, phoned later that night when in from work and told ski was hold full, i am sure the guy that I did the booking with knew this as I was not asked if I wanted to check my skis on to the flight. I know I could hire skis but my hubby and I just got new skis last year. Anybody got any ideas for cheap transfer to resort and back
