I will be booking my skiing holiday late this season. Thinking about goin in February. Whilst I like France, PDS, 3V etc, the last couple of years we have been to Sauze D'Oulx and decided we really like Italy.

Having done a bit of research on resorts, Cervinia seems to be coming out as a possibility. Any of you guys ever been there? Is there anywhere else I should be considering in Italy?

Depends what you are after.
Cervinia is lovely but the skiing is limited enough.
I did four days a few years ago and skied it all in a day and a half.
There is a link to Zermat which is much better but the link back can be difficult and we were on the worlds longest drag lift back to Cervinia.
Bad weather can close a lot of the mountain quickly enough too.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

Cheers Gareth, have you ever been to Madonna Di Campligo?

No but am considering it for March 2015. I usually only go for four days at a time due to work and family so find it very difficult to book accommodation.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

You could always try the Dolomites, there's a really good English run company web address Mountainsunltd.com and they'll do shorter than a week holidays, plus pick you up from either Innsbruck or Venice for about £70 return. Their place is San Cassiano is basic but on the slope and 30 metres above a gondola lift. There other place is close to the Kronplatz mountain, which although not connected to the Super Dolomiti area is included on the Super Dolomiti lift pass, or you can just buy its local pass. Definitely worth checking out.

Hi, you might consider the Aosta Valley resorts, Pila and Courmeyer are especially good if you are looking for short breaks because of the transfer times from Turin and Geneva. Interski offer short flexible breaks and provide everything even your ski clothing allowing you to leave the office and jump on a flight with just your toothbrush and a change of pants!
If you want something a little more challenging look at Champoluc with links to Gressoney, and the scenery is fantastic.

Icy.
La Thuile, Champlouc - worth a look.
Mate of mine went to Cortina last March, stayed in the big Inghams chalet hotel, said it was a fab hotel and superb quiet skiing.
