Has anyone skied Tignes in the first week of December?

We're toying with the idea of a early season week with the emphasis on technique etc so would be looking to have lessons every day. We've skied the glacier in summer so know what to expect as a bare minimum but are we likely to be able to ski down into Val Claret? I'm not too concerned about the link over to Val d'Isere but would like to think that there would more open than just the summer skiing area.

We wouldn't want to go any later than 1st Dec (and would even consider 24th Nov) as we are skiing over New Year and would want to have at least a 3 or 4 week gap between the two holidays.

Cheers!
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

Yes I have and I reckon you will have some good snow.
Obviously seasons vary but they have lots of artificial capacity.
I would eat my bobbly if you couldn't get back to Val Claret on reasonable snow and would expect the bowl between Val and Tignes to be at least partially open.
The Palafour side should have some open runs.
If I were going for the start of the season it is where I would choose.
As an aside - I have skied in Tignes every month of the year!
