We normally ski in the French Alps but are looking for something different in last week of March and would like some feedback on best resorts in Norway to visit - we are all comfortable on reds.???

Have a look at my topics on Hemsedal in the Scandinavian sub forum. We've skied there 3 times. I think this is the largest resort and probably the one with the greatest vertical. None of the resorts are large though.

Norway has had a lot of snow this winter and I suspect skiing conditions will be excellent. It's certainly a lot warmer in March rather than January!

slippy slidey snow......me likey!

We skied Hemsedal in February. Great little resort. Based around one centre, so good for meeting up if you want to ski different pistes (or if you did what my daughter did which is ski the wrong piste....). Full trip report will follow.

Trysil is also worth checking out - piste map looks like you'll get a greater feel of "travel" than at Hemsedal.
