We (a family of four) are off to Hemsedal in late Feb. We will be armed with a couple of bottles of spirits and plenty of layers of clothing.
Anything else to take?
Anything in particular to do or avoid when there?
I have read Bedrock Barney's great TR and have got some tips already.
Cheers

We went dog sledding in Hemsedal on one of our trips. Really really enjoyable. About £300 for a family of 4 with two sleds. I think the official Hemsedal website will have details. It was about 4 hours in total including pick up and drop off at the resort.
Regarding the weather it could be -5 or -20 at mid point! Best to have a look on snow forecast.com just before you head out. I don;t use them , but the rest of the family swears by hand and foot warmers.
Have a great holiday.

Thanks, bedrock Barney. Mrs loves those hand warmers.
