I had a pair of Dare2be salopettes quite a few years ago. No problem with waterproofing but breathability was a bit of an issue. My old-style cardboard lift-pass was unrecognisable as such after spending a week inside the pockets. Luckily, the transponder 'thingie' inside still worked so I had no problems getting through the turnstiles.

They are perfectly adequate and fairly well made from decent material.

But brand means stuff all. Function and quality matter.
