UK weather update

For those that need to know, UK airports have had to react to the snow.
Many are showing delays, cancellations, and amendments to landing slots. Heathrow has distanced the incoming flights further which has led to delays and cancellations through the day.
With more snow forecast the next 2 days, it is only going to get worse I am afraid.

Disruptions are severe out of Manchester, Gatwick, London City and Heathrow, and not quite so bad out of Luton. Stansted remains unaffected at present, but Birmingham and East Midlands are currently closed.

Please, check with the met office for weather reports, your airline and the airport before you travel, and equally important make sure you leave early if you are driving, take precautions on the roads as it is sure to be chaotic, and be careful.

I agree - hope all going out this weekend manage to do so without too much hassle and have a great week skiing.
