No I know, I always use just an outer later for a jacket, but this one just seemed a bit too thin. I've been tempted to go back and get it though as it was really stylish.

Picked up a base layer Icebreaker for £10, 3 pairs of Icebreaker ski socks for £10. They had Schoffel jackets down from £450 to £125. And I nearly bought a Mountain Hardwear jacket down from £180 to £50 but decided against it as it was just a bit too thin.
Some real bargains there.

This is an amazing deal you found, Tony. And for jacket too. Thin jackets are actually better for skiing as they are lighter. You can always add/remove a layer acccording to the weather, but there is not much you can do once you have an insulated ski jacket.
