Hello everyone

I am from the Netherlands and me and my boyfriend want to visit Yellowstone NP in winter next year in February
We would like to combine that with some skiiing

We are both beginners though and I have been looking at Jackson Hole, which is obviously the closest ski area but it says the hills are rather steep and more for the advanced skier.

Since our flights will be cheapest to Salt Lake City we are now looking in that area as well and Park City sounded like a nice one.

I have no clue however which area's are good or bad.
could anybody here also give me a little clue about the costst?
Here in Europe we go skiiing in Austria and a 4 day lift pass is about 100 euro's.

If anybody has some good ski area's to recommend that are nearby Yellowstone it would be much appreciated because I don;t know where to start.

And we are planning this kind of early since the snowlodge in Yellowstone tends to sell out pretty quickly for the new season

Expect some price shock for lift tickets. There are ways to get discounts. This will give you an idea of prices, but the discounts vary with time.

If you do not stay in a resort, basing your selves in Salt Lake is an option. Look for hotel+ski offers. Several big resorts are only 30-45 mins away.
