La Thuile - Tomorrow!

That old chestnut....
You really need to check with the airline, tour op and airport as to what they will and won't allow as hand luggage. Stansted and Innsbruck, no problem, but I know Grenoble for one have issues with helmets being taken on as hand luggage, depending on what day of the week of course, being French
Why didn't she just put it on her head :?:

Nugget - have a great time :D
You are now on my list of the 16 (so far) going this week, on the 'how many sleeps' thread.
So you are cleared as a 'go' and can expect no problems from the airport authorities over ski boots in hand luggage etc. etc.

AllyG,
No problems with ski boots but my wife who had her helmet hanging off her handbag (and no other hand luggage) had to force it into a friend's rucksack on the insistence of the check-in person, then we saw several other people with helmets hanging off hand lugagge boarding the plane!
