Hi guys, just a quick question, has anyone ever taken this with them on a flight without any problems, i can understand if it did as it is a powdery substance so they may be suspicious, so am i allowed to take it ? Its just iv e-mail my tour operator and they still haven't got back to me and I'm going away this Saturday to Chamonix.

I think you should be ok I take quite a lot of pills in my hand luggage and have never been asked any questions about them in fact they have never even opened the pill box.

I take Isostar in loose food bags and don't get any probs with the airline, or the major UK airports. However the security staff at East Midlands, and Luton airports did full drug swabs and hand luggage search based on their finding......wait for it......CoffeeMate in a bag in my rucksack.
When I queried their criteria, I was told it could be petrol. Yes folks the stuff that you put in your car. They held up my little bag of coffee whitener as if it were a bag of dynamite. I'll bet they'd never had any Lactose Intolerant travellers through their airport before

Now there's a thought, if CoffeeMate will run a car, it would probably be cheaper than Unleaded ...hmmmm )
