Zell Am See Alone

Hi all

was suppose to take my wife as a surprise holiday but she dont want to leave the kids at home with the parents, so goin alone on monday 13th.

Any suggestions would be really helpful and appriciated.

Yes I had a wonderful time, stayed at the Hotel Der Sonnberg, the wife did come along without the kids in the end, and all was well in the end. I would recommend at least once to go and try the food at the restaurant in the hotel Sonnberg top of Zell Am See; it gives a new meaning to fine dining.
All you going out there who have been before I need not say anymore and those that are going for the first time you are in for a treat.

Awe thats a shame she won't go with you. I am going to Zell but not till 22 January. What about trying to persuade a friend to go along, or if you are booked into a hotel you will probably meet up with other people at breakfast and dinner. Self catering might be a bit more difficult but if you have booked ski lessons there is always the chance there to make friends. Hope you get on okay and enjoy your holiday.

I'm sure there will be lots of suggestions along soon (mostly what to do with the wife!)

Ooops I did not realise he was going so soon. Thats what I get for trying to read this forum while I am at work and trying not to get caught. It will be interesting to see how he gets on.

It will. I wonder if he'll post an update? I'm with Dids. Leave the happy eaters at home and go for it!

Hope you had a great time - I love Zell am See, usually get there before Chrimbo, but sadly have to wait till 15th January for my fix this year. Anyone else there that week ?
