Killington disappointment - please help

Our holiday company has cancelled our booking in Killington (which we adore) citing contractual problems with the hotel and saying they cannot guarantee the standard of accomodation. They're moving us to Stowe - no offense, Stowe, but I love Killington! Do we take a risk and re-book accomodation at Killington (we're travelling from the UK with a young family) or go to Stowe?

:D you have just hit the jackpot. I grew up at Killington and live in Stowe. I live in Stowe for a good reason, the mountain is much better in all aspects. More snow, more interesting terrain, less crowds, and more a real town. The only negative is the lack of a large nightlife. But if you are not 28 and out trolling in the evenings, you will be fine.
