Hi,
This may sound like a stupid question, or perhaps an obvious one,
But is there anywhere in the whole USA where you can ski between june and september?

If you are in Oregon, there's Mount Hood. A lot of alpine teams train there. From what I've heard, it's often icy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon during the hottest months.

Is this likely to happen again? Because i notice that was last year, but do they frequently stay open late into the summer?

Mammoth and Arapahoe Basin close whenever the snow melts, so sometimes its not until July 4. Mt Hood closes for a period of time in the summer, howeve, they open back up in September. They do run ski & snowboard camps in June & July.
