hi just bought my first sets of skis for the wife and me,not really took much notice at airports before only to chunter to myself when keep getting knocked about by people with them!
just a couple of questions, holiday booked payed got tickets etc before skis so can i just book them in at airport (at extra cost i know),and not just a cost thing but can you put both sets in one bag and book as one,flying with monarch if that matters, cheers for any help daz

Some TO's will allow you to pack 2 pairs in one bag,(pay for 2 pairs) some won't. TO's are tightening up, check the small print. You will be very lucky to get them carried for free, or be able to get 2 pairs carried as one. Some TO's are placing punitive weight restrictions on ski bags, and suggesting that bags will be opened and "checked" at the airport. I suggest you lock your bag with a cable tie :D

watch out my boyfriend had problems with the lenght of the skis cs some airlines have length restrictions
