What is the best snowsports publication, DM ski & snowboard mag was pretty good for a ski fix but haven't bought it for quite sometime. Anyone read any others :?:

Fall Line is pretty good I reckon. For me DM Ski, was all about the adverts, and mostly the same each winter.

Dark Summer is also worth a look.

Good question, I've been looking for something different to read, like Bandit said, DM ski mag seems to be full of ads but its the only one I have ever bought.

Time for something else me thinks....

Powder is good for the pictures, can pick it up or have a flick in Borders. Internet is better though...

The problem with most of the ski mags (just climbing up onto my box now) is that they are full of pictures of superstar skiers or boarders jumping off mountains in places where the vast majority of us will never go. Fall Line is great for reviews, but seems to be aimed at people with unlimited disposable income and who know exactly what they want. Daily Mail (wont be called that for much longer as DM have sold it on this season) is about the most all round magazine but is too full of ads, but then they have to make money dont they?
Skier and Snowboarder is what I call a proper bread and butter magazine, A3 size so its bigger and people remember it for its size. Got news and interesting articles in it, and its free!
I always used to read Snow, free at my local dry slope, but I think its been pulled this season. It was about as informative and interesting as any, but a lot of them do seem to be a bit "clickey".
I reckon theres room for a newcomer in the market.... 8)
