I have booked for Sauze D Olux in feb possibly flying direct from Newcastle to Geneva
My boyfriend lives in Belgium so we always have problems when we come to book our ski hol

The problem is limited flights from Newcastledirect to Itally

We decided to both meet at Geneva airport hire a car and drive
I was shocked to find out the cost of the hire car

any suggestions on my travel options i have not booked any travelas yet only my accomodation

Help

Is it possible to get to one of the major airports, as you will need to fly to Turin ??

i could fly fron east midlands with Ryan air to Turin but by the time i drive down there pay parking and a hotel for return journey ...it was easier to fly to Geneva and then we drive 3 hours to Sauze but the car rental was arround 250 to 300 quid

I looked and the cheapest is from Geneva France @ £169 for a week (30 years old)

Train? Even if it takes a while trains in Europe are pretty good ;)

Geneva is not an airport I'd choose for getting to Sauze. Turin is the best choice, Grenoble would not be too bad. Whats that other one in northern italy, Cuneo???
