I keep hearing rumours that the Alps are in for another bumper year for snow. Anyone else heard this?
Apparently the storms started at the end of October last year so it's not too late yet.
Let's hope these 'experts' are right.
Another bumper year?

Plenty of time yet, we got well over a metre of snow in just two days while in Val D'Isere last December.
The key last year was from the first snows the temperatures stayed low.

.....I hope so, I have a feeling it will be a good season as my itch hs started to tingle :D :D
As it's an El Nino year when the cold air moves further south and hopfully collides with the moist Atlantic air I am very optimistic we will enjoy plenty of the white stuff, have been looking at the forecasts for my local area around BsM and the weather is set to drop to around -7oC by the weekend with a chance of snow.
If we can get the season started off with good dumps of snow early on to build u a good base and then have temperaures that stay low we will be on to a winner :D.....it's time for the yearly sacrifice of the furry wurthers original thats been in my car door pocket all year :(and to give praise to the snow gods....make it deep, make it white....and keep it comming all the night :D
.....I think the people with the white coats are at the door!!

.....We had a summer, bugger why didn't they tell us?
Mind you the Met Office reckon it will be a mild winter, so judging on past forecasts and predictions (such as the BbQ summer) the comming season should be a blinder
Luvely Jubbly :D :D
