I know someone who does, know, but he's taken to lurking on here, and would have seen your post by now. I have been to Morrillon village, so passed though the 1100 village every day. It looked pretty quiet to me, with great access to the skiing. You will need a car, and be prepared to use it most days I reckon, if you want entertainment.

I went there a few years ago we had fantastic snow conditions, we stayed down in the valley, as the resort is low snow conditions can be poor on the valley run, as for 1100 the normal restaurants and bars, not a fantastic amount of apres, I would say it is a DIY type of apres ski resort. Lift connections are very good to the rest of the area, we did not get as far Flaine as the kids were still very young and our ski time was limited. But I really liked the resort but what I would say if you are a group looking for apres ski try Samoens down the valley a bigger resort with a greater choice of bars.

The main gondola is five minutes from town, just a point of interest the bar/restaurant at the bottom of the gondola was up for sale last year a little overpriced at about 800k....£

I was always under then impression that Samoens was hugely inconvenient for the Grand Massif area?

As I said previously its a short drive outside the village, I would not think it would be too inconvenient, it is also a very nice village with plenty of history 8) 8)
