We are going to be staying in Silver Star for a few weeks at christmas but considered checking out Revelstoke as a new resort while we were there. How long is it to drive from Silver Star to Revelstoke? Possible for day trip?

It's doable, but it's a long drive. About 2-3 hours depending on conditions.
You should check out Big White also. About the same distance in the opposite direction.
